VIII Civil Society Development Forum that gathered in Kyiv more than 2 thousand participants from all over Ukraine this week also focused on the issues of European integration as a driving force promoting the key changes in the state. As the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ambassador Matti Maasikas characterized the role of civil society in promoting the development of democratic processes in Ukraine in his opening speech: «Ukraine’s civil society is the guarantee Ukraine is beyond the point of no return on its European path. EU is celebrating the great achievements of civil society in Ukraine».
During the panel discussions the Forum participants had an opportunity to share best practices in realizing the European integration projects in public sector, to elaborate the new initiatives in cooperation with the partners from the EU countries.
