Why are people manipulated and deceived by fake news and disinformation? How to counter propaganda at the local and state levels? How does Russia use the Western academic and analytical institutions for promoting its messages? How does Lithuania counter Russia’s information aggression? How to resist negative impacts via the Internet and television in total?
On July 7 in Severodonetsk and on July 8 in Mariupol the Center for Public Diplomacy in compliance with all quarantine security measures will carry out the workshops «Disinformation as an instrument of hybrid warfare: aspects of its spread and possibilities to counter propaganda» for representatives of local authorities, public sector and mass media.
